This course is designed to meet university, state, and community college English requirements. It provides a balanced, unified program of instruction in language, literature, and composition, engaging students in appropriate practice in listening, reading, speaking, writing, and critical thinking skills. Knowledge about personal learning styles and multiple intelligences will be explored, and self-assessment and reflection tools will be available for students' academic growth.
